When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. The Taming of the Shrew

      By William Shakespeare
      Directed by Bill Gillett

"If I be waspish, best beware my sting!" Can love tame a wild heart?

No one is permitted to woo Baptista's lovely daughter Bianca until her older sister, Kate, is married. However, no suitor can match Kate's fiery tongue and fierce temper. Those who tried found themselves bruised and humiliated. That is until Petruchio comes to town and, with some financial incentive, sets his sights on taming this shrew.

In Carroll Community College tradition, Shakespeare's text will be placed in a reimagined time and setting to support the play's themes and ideas and make the play clearer for modern audiences. At Carroll, Shakespeare comes alive; both familiar and fun!

      Thursday-Saturday, June 23 - 25
      8 p.m.
