ExploreSTEM is an intensive one-day continuing education program for any current high school students interested in learning more about careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

  • Visit five of the area’s STEM leaders at their place of business. This year's partners include Northrop Grumman, GSE Systems, Carroll Hospital Center, Shelter Systems and New Spin Robotics.
  • Explore career opportunities and meet professionals who hold these cutting-edge jobs.
  • Learn about various college degrees and education programs that lead to these highly sought-after careers.

Transportation is provided by Carroll Community College to and from all of the tour locations throughout the day. Students and their parents are responsible for transportation to and from the college.

Lunch is provided by our sponsor, Carroll Hospital Center. However, students may bring a brown bag lunch if they choose.
