Kids@Carroll Volunteer Assistants ...
- Work with young children and learn new things
- Make new friends from working with other volunteers
- Earn 18 – 40 service hours per week (depending upon their schedules)
Program activities may include art, dramatics, science, technology or a combination of all of the above! Volunteers are assigned based on the program’s need. Activities may include:
- Assisting the instructor with classroom preparation
- Helping staff check-in kids at the beginning of each program
- Assisting kids with completing projects and participating in activities
- Helping supervise kids
Summer!Kids@Carroll Volunteer Assistants must ...
- Be at least 14 years of age or about to start the 9th grade
- Love working with young children and be enthusiastic about helping others
- Can commit at least either a full or half-day for two full weeks between Monday, June 25 – Friday, Aug. 10
