Pay Grade: 7 ($34,392-$46,300)
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
This position provides for the safety and well-being
of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and property through the enforcement of College
policies and procedures in addition to applicable state, and local laws and
regulations. The position reports directly to the Assistant Chief of Campus
Police. This is a 40-hour per week, evening shift position.
REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

physically subdue a suspect.

The work environment involves potential risks
of violence or dangerous situations that could result in bodily harm. Officer
duties are performed in such places as offices, meeting rooms, parking lots,
cars, and training rooms. The position requires the training and safe carry of
weapons, use of conflict management skills, proper maintenance and use of
equipment including office equipment/vehicles, and may need to use specialized
equipment following college safety protocols in emergency situations.

Grade 7 college salary scale. Actual salary placement is based on education and
