Carroll is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267-284-5000). The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
The college was granted full accreditation in 1996. College accreditation was reaffirmed after evaluation team visits in 2006 and 2011:

Emergency Medical Services Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, Committee on Accreditation
of Educational Programs for Emergency Medical Services Professions.
The Physical Therapy Assistant program has been accredited since 1996 by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The program had its reaccreditation site visit in March 2011.
The Associate Degree Nursing Program has been approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
The Carroll Community College Practical Nursing program has been approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
