Proctoring for Online Courses

  • You can complete many online courses from various institutions with tests proctored at Carroll. To designate Carroll Testing Center as your proctoring site, notify your home institution. Colleges and universities typically provide a form that you complete directing them where to send test materials.

    A $25 fee for each test is due prior to test time. The fee is applicable for placement testing for other institutions. Bring fees and photo ID on test day. Plan to finish before scheduled closing.

    Noise can be distracting. Please check the college calendar for performances or events in the Great Hall and plan your test accordingly. Proctoring is on a walk-in basis, except when special equipment or computers are required.

    Tests are returned via U.S. mail and are picked up for postmarking by college staff at 9 a.m. daily except Saturdays. Special mailing services (e.g. Federal Express, UPS, etc.) are not available. Testers must pay international shipping charges. Fees for international mailings are added to proctoring fees. Please be prepared to meet testing and return deadlines as outlined on your course syllabus.
