COVID Relief Funds
Need Help Paying for Your Education at Carroll?
You could be eligible for financial relief thanks to a variety of Federal and State COVID relief grants as well as those provided by the Carroll Community College Foundation. Carroll Community College is committed to supporting student success. In these unusual and unprecedented times, we recognize that students may face unexpected challenges in reaching their education goals and require short-term financial support to achieve success.
The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) is authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA). Institutions are authorized to provide emergency financial aid grants to students for expenses related to the ongoing disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus. Students can receive funding to assist with these expenses food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, child care, or tuition.
In fall 2021, over 1,200 Carroll students were awarded $1.2 million dollars in this federally funded grant!
More funding will be available in spring 2022 for eligible students.
