Littlest Learners Email – Details

A Deferred Payment Plan is now available for our Littlest Learner’s families.  In order to establish your Deferred Payment Plan for your Littlest Learner’s tuition, you will need a Carroll Community College account. The college’s password security standard requires that all users change their account password the first time they log on to the system. To set up your account for the first time, open this link – https://passwordreset.carrollcc.edu and enter your User ID [username]@carrollcc.edu. On the next screen, choose “I forgot my password” and click Next. You will be sent a verification code to your personal email account. After entering your verification code, you will be prompted to create a password. Note: Full access to your account will be active 1 business day after receipt of this email.

Choose LYNX Student portal and Login using CCC account
Choose Student Finance
Select Make a Payment
Select Continue to Payment Center

Set up your College Email.
This is where all official communication will be sent to you:

Click [Mobile Setup Link] for information to set up email on your mobile device.

Login to Lynx Student Portal:
You will need your Username ([username]) and your newly created password to access the Lynx Student Portal using the instructions below:
1. Go directly to  https://www.carrollcc.edu/mycarroll/.
2. Click on the Lynx Student Portal icon.
3. Enter your Username ([username]) and password.
4. Click Sign in.

Check your eligibility to take classes at https://www.carrollcc.edu/admissions-aid/course-placement-eligibility/. At the previous link, look for the appropriate student type and view eligibility criteria. If you need to send us transcripts, please have them sent to the Advising Office at advising@carrollcc.edu.

Acceptable Use Policy

Applicant to Registered Student Email – Details

As a registered student, you have access to many of our software applications using your username ([username]) and the password that you set up for your Carroll email account. Each of these applications is available from the [My Carroll Short Cut Link] link on the website.

Included on this webpage are links to:

Canvas – Your [DQ]lifeline[DQ] to your coursework. Each one of your courses has its own page on Canvas. You will access your assignments, contact information for your faculty member, your gradebook and many other useful items. Your courses are available beginning in Preview Week (the week prior to classes beginning).

Lynx Student Portal – This link takes you to the application that allows you to take care of many business processes, like paying your bill, planning and registering for classes, accepting and declining financial aid, etc.

Microsoft Office 365 – Being a registered student at Carroll gives you free access to all of the Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as many others.

Additionally, you can download the Ellucian GO app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store to view your course schedule and a campus map, register for courses, pay your bill, and more.

Credit Adjunct Email Details

As part of the hiring process, you have been issued a Carroll Community College account and email address. Your account will give you access to the college’s network and portal systems. Your password is the same for both of these tools. The college’s password security standard requires that all faculty and staff change their account/email password the first time they log on to the system. In order to reset your password from off campus, you will need to set up your account in the college’s web-based password reset program. This tool is used as the primary method for password management.

According to college policy, once your account has been created in password self-service, you must use the college email for all college communications. Messages from Blackboard and/or Canvas will automatically be forwarded to your college email account.

Tests are untimed. Check in at the Admissions Office A-101 for testing and bring photo ID.

Dual Enrollment, Visiting Students and all Non-Degree seeking students should come to the Admissions Office in A-101 to register for classes. Walk in from 8:30 am-4:00 pm or call to schedule an appointment at 410-386-8430.

All students starting a degree or transfer pathway program, please call the Advising Office A-102 to schedule an appointment with your dedicated advisor at 410-386-8435. Appointments are highly recommended and take approximately one hour. Without an appointment, wait times can be long.

Registered Student Delete Email – Details

Carroll Community College provides accounts for all credit students. This account includes licenses for Microsoft Office 365.  The college removes accounts for students who have not taken classes after two consecutive years. You will have 30 days to access and download files, contacts, email, etc. that you want to keep. Your account will be removed on [Delete Date].

Student Username Change Email – Details

Canvas Information

Your “lifeline” to your coursework. Each one of your courses has its own page on Canvas . You will access your assignments, contact information for your faculty member, your gradebook and many other useful items. Your courses are available beginning in Preview Week (the week prior to classes beginning).

Lynx Student Portal Information

This link takes you to the application that allows you to take care of many business processes like paying your bill, planning and registering for classes, accepting and declining financial aid, etc.

You will need your Username ([username]) and your newly created password to access the Lynx Student Portal using the instructions below:
1. Go directly to [My Carroll URL Link].
2. Click on the Lynx Student Portal icon.
3. Enter your Username ([username]) and password.
4. Click Sign in.

Being a registered student at Carroll gives you free access to all of the Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as many others.

Complete your intake survey in Starfish so we can connect you with important services on campus to help you be successful.
1. Click on Starfish from the Lynx Student Portal.
2. Click on the three-lined menu button in the upper left corner.
3. Click on [DQ]Tell Us More About Yourself[DQ] and complete your survey.
