Eric Donovan: Student Gives Back as SGO Officer
Nineteen-year-old Eric Donovan says he benefits from attending Carroll in many ways. He has enjoyed the opportunity to be a Hill Scholar. He has been involved in many co-curricular activities that take place outside of the classroom. But when he joined the SGO as an officer, Donovan found that service to other students was the best way to give back to a college that has given him so much!
“I thought I would start out at a four-year school. But then I discovered Carroll, where I could save some money and complete classes that would transfer to my four-year institution,” said Donovan. “This has been the wisest decision I have made,” he said.
Donovan credits Carroll’s faculty with helping him to succeed. “Faculty have guided me well, and they go out of their way to make sure students understand the concepts and content of the curriculum,” he said. “A quality education blended with fun Student Life activities make Carroll the ideal place to be.”

Donovan said that becoming involved in the life of the college makes the experience much more enjoyable and interesting. And the benefit of developing a keen sense of what he wants to do with his life makes Carroll the best choice. That’s why he gives his time and talents back to the college as an SGO Officer.
