Course Description

MUSIC-235, Percussion Ensemble 4, is dedicated to the performance of significant percussive styles from around the globe. Percussion traditions from various cultures, including Cuba, Brazil, India, West Africa and the Middle East are explored through performance and cultural research. No prior performance experience necessary for membership. Prerequisite: exemption/completion of ASE Reading. Two hours laboratory each week. One credit. One billable hour. If "MC" section, registration forms available in Records Office or FPA Office-T413. Students register at McDaniel College. Offered Spring and Fall terms.
