Curriculum

Take your digital marketing skills to the next level with courses designed to guide you from planning and strategy to execution to analysis. (Not all courses are offered every term.)

Unlock your digital potential and dive into the world of digital marketing channels, strategy and planning. Learn to develop digital marketing goals, identify target audiences, select appropriate channels, create a robust digital marketing plan, and understand the critical role of branding. Ideal for aspiring digital marketers or those eager to leverage the power of social media marketing. Students are asked have access to a Social Media Business page (Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn recommended).

Build on foundational knowledge in this second course in digital marketing. Focus on digital marketing strategies and content creation. Learn to create and implement a content calendar using relevant and effective tactics. Gain hands-on experience crafting and implementing digital marketing campaigns, including both written and visual content. Upon completion, students will have the skills needed to develop and perform successful digital marketing campaigns. Prerequisite: Digital Marketing Planning and Strategizing.

Unleash data-driven insights in this final course in digital marketing. Master the art of using analytics to improve your marketing efforts. Topics include setting clear objectives, selecting key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyzing data from published content.     Digital marketing includes using digital tools such as analytics, web design, and graphics to create marketing campaigns to be used on different digital and social media sites.
  2. What if I only want to use one social network site?
    No problem! All social media sites are discussed, but the instructor will work with you for your individual goals and audience to help you learn the platform you want to use.
  3. Are there any requirements to take this program?
    As all classes are held remotely, access to a computer with reliable internet access outside of Carroll is required. Throughout the course, projects are assigned by the instructor and will necessitate work outside of class time. Access to a Social Media Business page (Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn) is recommended.
  4. Is financial assistance available?
    Yes! This program is eligible for tuition assistance.
  5. Where does the training take place?
    Entirely through our online platforms, Microsoft Teams and Canvas.
