Carroll Community College Foundation Announces Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company Support

Westminster, Md., November 26, 2019 — The Pleasant Valley Community Fire Company (PVCFC) recently made a $7,300 gift to the Carroll Community College Foundation with proceeds from the Robert W. Fogle, III Memorial Golf Tournament held in August. 

The PVCFC established an endowed scholarship at Carroll Community College in memory of Life Member, Robert W. Fogle, III. The mission of this scholarship is to help support individuals seeking career positions in Public Safety.

The Robert W. Fogle, III Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund totals nearly $70,000 and has supported Carroll students since 2017.

Executive Director of the College’s Foundation Steve Wantz said, “It is an honor to be a part of Robert’s legacy and his commitment to education. Scholarships awarded annually are transforming local families’ lives through this generous donation.”
