Learn French at Carroll Community College
Do you want to visit France? Paris? Quebec? Are you interested in French foods, art, and culture? If so, Carroll Community College has the ideal course for you-French 101, Elementary French 1. It will be offered during the fall 2007 semester, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. French 201, Intermediate French 1 is also offered during the fall semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 3:20 p.m. The fall semester begins Aug. 27, 2007.
This three-credit course is for those who would like an introduction to the language, or for those who have completed French in high school. It provides a solid foundation in four language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Grammar and culture are also covered. These courses will be taught by instructor Rachael Wentz.
Walk-in registration takes place at Carroll Community College at 1601 Washington Road, Westminster. Students may register for any fall semester course through Aug. 27, 2007. Hours are Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fridays, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
