Child Development Center Offers Expanded Services at New Location
Westminster, Md., Dec. 4, 2009-The recent relocation of the Child Development Center into the new Classroom Building at Carroll Community College has allowed the Center to expand its capacity, services, and to evolve into a lab setting for teachers in training and other research professionals.
The Child Development Center is dedicated to providing an intellectually stimulating environment that engages young children. This supports the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development of the child.
Exploring and playing are the means to integrate math, science, language, literacy, music and art. Learning is individualized with an emphasis on active hands-on learning to help children develop their problem-solving and thinking skills.
