Carroll Community College Conference Addresses Business Across the Globe


Westminster, Md., Feb. 15, 2010--The second annual Entrepreneurship Conference: Going Global! takes place on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 10 a.m. (check in 9:45 am) to 2:30 p.m. Welcoming remarks will be held in the K Classroom Building at Carroll Community College.

Ben Casnocha ( returns as the keynote speaker to discuss how to conduct business across the globe. 

Breakout session instructors include Jeanne Townsend, senior trade specialist from the U.S. Department of Commerce; Kevin Thibodeau, executive vice president and marketing officer of Vapotherm (, Pete Truby of Salazon Chocolate (, and Danielle DiFerdinando of Danielle Nicole, Inc. ( DiFerdinando will be giving away a beautiful leather handbag from her newest collection at the conclusion of the conference. 

The breakout sessions will cover topics ranging from "Export Resources for Businesses," "Demystifying China: What Your Business Should Know," "The Do's and Don'ts of Doing Business in Canada," and many others.

Registration for the general public is $49 and $15 for college students with a valid college ID. High school students are invited to attend free of charge. Registration includes lunch.
