Carroll Community College Sponsors Financial Aid Workshop
Carroll Community College will hold a free financial aid workshop on Dec. 8, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Theater in the Scott Center at 1601 Washington Rd.
This overview of financial aid programs includes information about how to apply and how to meet individual student and family needs, while meeting strict deadlines. Attend this session to find out everything you need to know about the financial aid process. In addition, attendees can get their questions answered about how to apply online for aid, an increasingly popular option.
"The college wants to help students and their parents optimize their financial aid opportunities," said Lori Henry, Director of Financial Aid at Carroll and presenter at the workshop.
In FY 2006, annual tuition and fees for a full-time, in-county student is $3,234.00 at Carroll.
Many federal, state, and institutional scholarships are available to qualified students to assist with the cost of a college education.
