Carroll Community College Offers Presidents' Day Open House
Westminster, Md., On Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, Carroll Community College will host a President's Day Open House (Open House). Check-in time is 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. The program will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This special program for high school students and parents is a structured program where participants will rotate through several important sessions. The Open House covers much of the basic information that both students and parents need to consider during the transition from high school to college. The program includes a welcome and career awareness activity; what to expect in the classroom; admissions and financial aid; getting started at college; transfer; majors and academic programs; and a college tour.
