"Cars" to Kick-Off Tenth Annual Random House Book Fair
The public is invited to Carroll Community College on Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 for an evening kick-off celebration of the Tenth Annual Random House Book Fair. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Theater in the Scott Center, the college will present a viewing of the movie "Cars." The event will be held at the campus at 1601 Washington Rd. in Westminster, Md.
The kick-off event is sponsored by State Farm Insurance & Financial Services. Children's giveaway bags will include a free atlas for every child.
Admission is $2.00 per person and $7.00 per family (2 adults with children 12 and under). Tickets can be purchased at the door.
The celebration continues with the Book Fair being held on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Proceeds from these events will help fund student scholarships.
