  • Miller is Carroll County’s go-to resource for entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to launch or build their business. Miller can provide you with the planning, training and community resources to help you start, grow and be more profitable. 

    NEW! Miller: Resources for Entrepreneurship Scholarship Fund

    Build your business - and we'll help pay for the training!

    Miller: Resources for Entrepreneurs Scholarship Fund Eligibility:
    • Applicant must reside in Carroll County and business entity must operate in Carroll County.
    • Applicant must have no outstanding balance with Carroll Community College.
    • Applicant may be responsible for repayment of any award for failure to attend the class(s)/workshop(s).
    • “MSB” classes/workshops are approved for Miller: Resources for Entrepreneurs Scholarship funding.
    • Award total may include up to a 75% of the cost for any NEW business (defined as a start-up or in business for less than 12 months) and up to a 50% reduction for EXISTING business (defined as being in business for less than 36 months), contingent on availability of funds.
