Assessment—General Education Assessment

General Education goals are assessed through signature assignments in each General Education course. Signature assignments will:

  • Assess a minimum of four General Education goals
  • Require students to respond to an unscripted problem
  • Include a reflective or metacognitive component
  • Faculty teams will evaluate a representative sample of signature assignments to assess General Education goals. Results will drive continuous improvement of the General Education curriculum and faculty development activities.
