Who are Continuing Education ESOL classes for?

Continuing Education ESOL provides advanced instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. There are also classes for English pronunciation and grammar.

These classes are a good place to start if:

  • You are an advanced English student who wants to continue to improve your English for your job or further education.
  • Your reading and listening skills are too high for the Basic Skills ESOL classes.

Cost

Continuing Education ESOL classes are tuition classes (around $300 for a 10-week session). There is also an additional book fee.

Classes Offered

This 10-week, synchronous online course is designed for English language learners who want to improve their English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for the workplace or to prepare for further education or workforce training. Grammar and pronunciation instruction are also included.

Classes are held online, Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Sessions run every 10-weeks starting in October, January, and April.

Cost: $295

This class is for students learning English as a second language. Instruction includes correct articulation and pronunciation of American English.

Class is held online, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

If English is your second language and you are headed to college, this course will teach you the principles of grammar and structure you will need to succeed.
