Nursing Admission And Registration

Application form and Information for the Fall 2023 class will open on December 15, 2022 and close on February 15, 2023.

NLN-PAX information
NLN-PAX for Carroll Community College, class beginning Fall 2023 will be face-to-face in the Testing Center. Exams will be available beginning October 2022. A score of 100 on the composite section is required to be considered for acceptance. You may re-test every 30 days. In addition to the exam fee for the re-test, there is a $25 re-testing fee. Please pay the Testing Center on your re-testing day. You must bring a photo ID to all testing sessions.

  • Enter username (email address is suggested)
  • Enter email
  • Choose your institution 424080-02 Carroll Comm College ON-SITE TESTING
  • Enter First and Last name, Date of Birth, City, State, phone number
  • Click on create a new account
  • You will receive a link via your email asking you to reset your password. Please verify your time zone. THIS SETTING CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAKING YOUR INSITUTIONS DEADLINE AND MISSING IT!

Entrance into the program is selective and is based on academic ability and aptitude for a career as a nurse. Acceptance is completed in conjunction with admission to Carroll. For more information, contact Nancy Perry at nperry@carrollcc.edu or 410-386-8231.

Students who do not pass exam are eligible to re-test every 30 days. Documentation about the NLN-PAX is below

Nursing Admissions Checklist

  • Submit all official transcripts to the Records Office.
  • Submit proof of high school graduation. This can be an official transcript from your high school, a copy of your diploma, GED certificate or evaluation of a foreign high school transcript.
  • Submit the credit enrollment application
  • Obtain and submit a Nursing Application to Nancy Perry, program director. The application and instructions are available online during open admissions.
  • All documents must be submitted together as a single application packet except for official transcripts, which need to be submitted to the Records Office.
