Campus Alert

We invite you to become a referral partner by informing others about the opportunity to use mediation, conflict coaching or facilitation to help resolve disputes, facilitate challenging conversations and make difficult decisions.

The mediation, coaching and facilitation processes are free, confidential, voluntary and nonjudgmental. The CCCMC provides professionally trained volunteer mediators and coaches who facilitate the process. They represent the diversity of Carroll County with regard to age, race, gender, ethnicity, income, experiences and education. Mediations and coaching sessions are scheduled at times and locations convenient to the participants.

The CCCMC strives to empower individuals and communities to resolve their disputes within their neighborhoods. Access to spaces at local churches, agencies, schools and community organizations enables the CCCMC to ensure that mediation is accessible and available to everyone in the county. Use of your space reinforces the empowering message that disputes can be resolved in the neighborhoods in which they occur.

The CCCMC provides free presentations up to one hour in length on alternative dispute resolution and community mediation in Carroll County. We also provide conflict resolution training that can be customized to your organization’s needs. Contact us for more information about cost, duration and training content.

Over the years, the following agencies/sites have helped promote peace in Carroll County by generously providing funding, offering private meeting space for coaching sessions, mediations and facilitations, and/or referring individuals, families or groups for these services.
