Career Coach is an online tool to explore your interests and career options. You can easily search industries to find occupational information. Discover pathways at Carroll for credit and non-credit programs to help you meet your career goals.

Access Career Coach now to get started! No login or sign up required, but you can create an account to save your results.

Focus 2 Career

Focus 2 Career is an online assessment tool measuring interests, skills, values and goals. This resource provides information to select relevant majors, compare your profile to careers and consider options.

How do I access Focus 2 Career?

  • Access Focus 2 and click Register. Your Access Code is “CareerStart”. Save your password and user ID.
  • Complete the interest, skills and values assessments. If you need help understanding your results, contact careerdevelopment@carrollcc.edu.
  • Search information by job title or major, and compare two careers side by side.

Career Assessment & Planning Class

CAR 102 (Career Self Assessment and Planning) is a one-credit course that will give you knowledge about careers and assessment of interests, skills and values as related to career decisions.

CAR 103 Career/Employment Preparation. Career/Employment Preparation is a one-credit course that will help you create a professional portfolio and utilize effective employment research methods.

Candid Career

Candid Career is an online platform that houses hundreds of videos on various careers. Each short video centers on a real person in a real role—talking about daily tasks, what they enjoy, networking tips, and how to get started. Take part in this virtual job shadowing and see what career might be for you!
