  • Health Science Certificate: Builds understanding of health systems and basic scientific principles that support wellness careers.
  • Massage Therapy: Prepares students for credentialing in massage therapy and related bodywork professions. (Transfers to Ann Arundel Community College.)
  • Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate: Develops the skills to work with clients in fitness settings, improve movement patterns, and support personal goals.

“One month after ending my active duty service with the Marine Corps, I began coursework at Carroll in Exercise Science,” said Carroll graduate Kurt Udseth, Jr., now manager at a Merritt Fitness Center. “I was set up for success both in transferring to a Bachelor’s degree program after completion of the AA and through an ACSM personal trainer workshop that led to my first certification in the field.”

Kurt’s experience reflects what many students find at Carroll: a supportive environment that prepares them for transfer, professional certification, and meaningful careers in fitness & wellness.
