New students starting in the Spring 2021 Term, including students transferring in from another college and dual enrollment students, should attend New Student Orientation.
Because of COVID-19, all of our New Student Orientation sessions will be held remotely through Microsoft Teams. Our program will be broken down into two evenings, Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27. Additional programs will be held during Welcome Week (February 1 through 12) that will help connect you to faculty and students in your Area of Study as well as clubs and organizations.

There will be a Parent Session held on Thursday, January 28, 2020 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Parents can use the link below to register to attend.

Your attendance and participation are expected! Students who do not participate in our virtual sessions are expected to view the materials and recordings on Canvas. Recordings will be available by Friday, January 29, 2021. All new students will be added to the Canvas Orientation course prior to the start of the semester to review materials.

Please note that all sessions will be recorded and be made available for students who are unable to attend the live virtual sessions. All sessions will be posted on Canvas for students to access and those who don’t attend a live session are expected to review all material online.
Spring classes begin on Monday, February 1, 2021. Please make sure to review your course format by visiting Student Planning from the Lynx Student Portal so that you can make adjustments to your schedule based on your class format preference.
